An apartment complex located within a very active urban community needed to have its windows replaced – glass and framing. This was a multi-level complex and 65′ boom lifts were employed. Our Process

Need

  • Replace 14 windows in stages, spring and fall, for multiple 4 years around entire property. (7) Windows per tier - existing windows and metal panels surrounding widows and AC units on every floor from ground level to top of 7th story.. Rebuild existing framing around windows and AC units with fire rated kd framing, rockwhool Insualtion and spray foam edges, along with Denz glass board, to cover all with non permeable weather barriers, prior to effuse panels being installed with zip trim. Inside will get full new window casing box trim with colonial trim wrap (these were pre measured and built offsite in a climate controlled environment, caulked and painted in spray booth to ensure durability and quality).
